Management and maintenance

On its establishment on 1st January 1994 , the responsibility for the management and maintenance of 198.4 km of two-lane and four-lane motorways and expressways and 67.5 km of access roads, was assigned to DARS d.d. by the Republic of Slovenia.  

In terms of constructing new motorways, the length of motorways and expressways, managed by DARS d.d. is increasing. At the moment DARS manages and maintains a total of 606 km of motorways and expressways, 163 km of connection roads and 27 km of rest areas.
