How to use the vignette

VALIDITY PERIODS

Yearly vignette for the current year is valid from 1 December of the previous year to 31 January of the next year (total of 14 months).
Half-year vignette is valid for six months following the day of its purchase, or, if there is no such day in the sixth month, until the end of the last day of the sixth month.
Monthly vignette is valid from the date of purchase until the end of the day with the same number one month after purchase, or, if there is no such day in the following month, until the end of the last day of the month. Weekly vignette is valid for seven consecutive days from the date specified by the user upon purchase.

Half-year, monthly and weekly vignette must be punched at a shop. They are punched in the spot marking the first day of validity. A vignette that is not punched is not valid. Please check carefully upon purchase that your vignette is properly punched.

DISPLAYING A VIGNETTE

A vignette may only be used on one vehicle.  When applying a vignette it is not permitted to use other glues, special foils, adhesive tapes and similar.

Prior to placing a vignette, always check carefully that it is punched with the correct date. If a vignette is not properly punched, you can only make a claim from the seller with an unused vignette. Once the vignette has been placed, a claim is no longer possible.

If the vignette is damaged in the process of application, you may request a new one, but only at the Toll User Centre in Ljubljana.

Do not try to remove the vignette (or its parts) from the windscreen. If this occurs, please contact the Toll User Centre (080 15 03 or +386 (0) 151 88 350) to discuss further action. If you try to remove the vignette, or remove it, the NEVELJAVNO (INVALID) sign will become active, and the vignette is thereby invalid and cannot be subject to reclamation.

A vignette is only valid when it is properly displayed on a vehicle prior to use of a toll road. After removing the protection foil, place a vignette undamaged on the left inner side of a windscreen, in such a way that it is visible from outside. Vignette should not be placed in a spot where the windscreen is dark or to a side window of a vehicle.

Please make sure, before applying a vignette, to read the displaying instructions on the back side of a vignette. Always remove a previously displayed or invalid vignette prior to placing a new valid vignette.

You can find detailed information about vignette in Instructions for the vignette resellers (HRV / D / ITA / HUN).
