Closed toll system
In the closed tolling system, users first enter the motorway system at a toll station, and then pay the toll upon leaving the motorway at an exit toll station. The difference between such system and the open tolling system is that the amount of toll depends more on the covered distance and that it has toll stations solely for entries and for exits.
The closed tolling system is intended for toll payment for vehicles with the maximum permissible weight of over 3.5 tones. Toll can be paid directly - classically (by payment cards, cash) and electronically (DARS card/DARS card Transporter and ABC tag).
Toll roads in the closed tolling system are motorway A1 Ljubljana - Srmin and A3 Srmin - Gabrk – Fernetiči - border crossing.

The frontal entry toll station on the motorway Ljubljana - Srmin (Koper) in the direction of the coast is Ljubljana, and the frontal exit toll station for the same direction is Videž. The frontal entry/exit toll station in the direction from Ljubljana (or from the coast) towards Nova Gorica and other way around is Nanos.
The frontal exit toll station on the motorway Ljubljana - Gabrk - Fernetiči (it splits from the motorway Ljubljana - Klanec at the Gabrk junction, between the exits Senožeče and Divača) in the direction towards the border crossing Fernetiči is Dane (near Sežana).
